Tips on material for mullet fishing with plug

Here are some models of rods, reels and wires that can guide you when choosing materials for mullet fishing with a plug.

Rod

It is advisable to fish with a rather long rod (3m50 to 4m) in order to be able to fish far enough from the edge with the greatest discretion (a long leader will facilitate your fishing). However, you can use a smaller casting rod with a power of 3-10g. Choose a rod with a higher weight if you fish in crowded places (port with boats, dead bodies...). This will allow you to better control the fish so that it does not go under the boats.
You can opt for the Kaiju by Rod Factory, a handy rod that guarantees a pleasant fishing experience. There is also the Garbospin Sprint Lure from Garbolino, equipped with an EVA split handle, Titanium Oxide rings and an ergonomic screw reel seat. It will also be possible to use Savage Gear's Finesse Rods telescopic rod (which has superb, light and fast blanks, but also progressive to fight powerful fish on thin lines. It is equipped with Carbon Tube Guide Tapering rings for optimal throwing performance.
Finally, there will be the Villain 2.0 of the Abu Garcia brand. This rod is equipped with a 40T quality graphite blank, micro titanium rings (which allows for optimal performance and balance). In addition, a V wrap is used to give it more strength.

Reel

You can use a 2000 reel if you have space, it will improve the fight. If you find yourself in a situation where you have to clamp the mule, a 4000 reel will be more suitable.
You can first choose the Esex GII reel from Astucit, which will be suitable for fishing predators with lures or for laying. This machine is made of fiberglass reinforced polyamide with an openwork design (to save weight) and has 3 ball bearings. You can choose the Quick Dragger RD from DAM, the rear brake version of the Quick Dragger FD. All the advantages of the FD models have been applied to this range, except for the exclusive Power Drag System (PDS) rear brake. Thanks to its wide discs and pressure distribution technology, this rear brake works as smoothly as a front brake, with the advantage of easier adjustment. The Sealed Drag Construction (SDC) sealed brake prevents impurities from penetrating, ensuring proper operation in all circumstances.
In the top of the range, you will find the Daiwa Ballistic EX, which benefits from Magsealed technology that permanently ensures waterproofness and fluidity of the mechanics. The rotor, the key element of rotational fluidity, has a new, lighter and more robust design. Finally, there will be the Daiwa Morethan, equipped with Magsealed technology, which protects its robust mechanics while maintaining its original fluidity. This reel also unveils the new Daiwa sealed bearings, in Magsealed oil bath.
